Transforming Lives Through Care, Capability, and Connection

At C3, we work to translate research rooted in positive pscyhology into actionable strategies that create measurable impact, empowering people and organizations to succeed.  Rather than just addressing challenges, positive psychology emphasizes what helps individuals and organizations flourish—from fostering inclusive classrooms to building resilient workplace cultures

Grounded in Research, Driven by Results

At C3 Community, we rely on research-driven strategies to foster care, capability, and connection in workplaces and educational spaces. Gallup’s State of the Global Workplace Report reinforces the urgent need for engagement, well-being, and leadership development.

  • Engagement & Productivity: Only 23% of employees are engaged at work, yet high-engagement workplaces see 23% higher profitability and 18% higher productivity.
  • Workplace Well-Being: 44% of employees experience daily stress, affecting retention and performance.
  • Retention & Psychological Safety: Poor management causes 70% of engagement variance, and strong workplace culture reduces turnover by 43%.

Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) in Education Research consistently shows that when schools prioritize Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and Culturally Responsive Teaching, students experience academic, emotional, and social growth.

  • Improved Academic Performance: A 2017 meta-analysis involving over 100,000 students worldwide found that participation in SEL programs led to a 13 percentile point increase in academic performance, along with enhanced emotional regulation, empathy, and conflict resolution skills (CASEL).
  • Stronger Student Engagement: Research from the American Educational Research Association (AERA) highlights the positive impact of culturally responsive teaching on student engagement and academic outcomes. Studies show that when educators integrate students' cultural backgrounds into learning, students develop a stronger sense of belonging and engagement in their education (AERA).

Leadership and Coaching

We believe that effective leadership and personalized coaching create empowered individuals and high-performing teams. Research consistently highlights the impact of strengths-based coaching and empathetic leadership on employee engagement, retention, and overall performance.

  • Stronger Employee Engagement and Retention: Organizations with a strong coaching culture report that 65% of their employees feel highly engaged, compared to 52% in organizations without coaching programs. Coaching also leads to greater job satisfaction and retention (International Coaching Federation).
  • Improved Performance and Well-Being: Strengths-based coaching has been shown to increase employee productivity, engagement, and well-being, helping individuals unlock their potential and drive success within organizations (Institute for Employment Studies).

The C3 Framework: Cultivating Care, Capability, and Connection

Our approach is centered around three core pillars—Cared For, Capable, and Connected:

1. Cared For

Research underscores the importance of psychological safety in fostering innovation and trust within teams. Google's Project Aristotle revealed that teams with high psychological safety were more likely to propose and implement new ideas, indicating a significant boost in innovation  (AristotlePerformance).

2. Capable

Research indicates that self-efficacy mediates the relationship between job autonomy and job performance, meaning that higher levels of autonomy lead to improved performance and greater job satisfaction (Academia.edu).

3. Connected

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) emphasizes that a positive workplace culture, which includes strong interpersonal relationships, is crucial for employee retention and engagement. Their reports highlight the significance of workplace culture in retaining and empowering employees globally (SHRM).

By integrating these pillars into our programs, C3 Community is dedicated to building environments where individuals feel valued, empowered, and connected, leading to enhanced innovation, performance, and organizational commitment.
